School Admissions Consultation 2024/25
Consultation has concluded
Consultation on School Admission Arrangements 2024/25
A consultation is taking place from 1 November to 31 January 2023 on admission arrangements for state-funded schools in Oxfordshire for the 2024/25 academic year.
All state-funded schools have a set of admissions rules, published admission number and oversubscription criteria to help them process school applications consistently, transparently and fairly.
Oxfordshire County Council consults every year on admission arrangements for schools where it is the Admissions Authority.
Academy Trusts are their own Admission Authority for their schools; and while they don’t have to consult every year, they must consult where they want to make changes to their admission arrangements or where seven years have passed without any changes being made or proposed.
Any consultations on admission arrangements for the 2024/25 academic year must take place for a period of 6 weeks between 1 November 2022 and 31 January 2023.
Admissions Authorities must display their current and proposed admissions arrangements on their websites and also provide a copy of their proposed 2024/25 arrangements for display on this page.
Documents received from academy trusts will be displayed on this page as and when they come in.
