Consultation has concluded
Background
We know that it can be difficult to quit smoking, but we also know that personal stories about quitting smoking can help inspire others to give up their smoking habit. If you have stopped smoking or decided to switch your cigarettes for a vape, your story could be the reason why somebody else decides to give up their cigarettes.
We are running a short questionnaire to hear more about why quitting smoking was important to you, how you made the change to quitting smoking, and what benefits you have noticed since giving up cigarettes.
Have your say
We are running a questionnaire for 30 days to hear from you alongside our campaign to encourage current smokers to try the 30-day challenge.
We are making a £50 shopping voucher available to each of the five most inspirational stories of how smokers quit.
To be in with the chance of winning one of the £50 shopping vouchers please tell us your unique story by completing the questionnaire below. Make sure you indicate that you are happy for your story to be shared. (Your story can be anonymous, if you don't want your name to be shared).
We will select the five most inspirational responses and, after checking with you that you are happy with your story, will share these either in written format or record a short video or audio clip of you telling your story.
We will award shopping vouchers to the winning participants after their stories have been shared by our communications team. You can read the terms and conditions of this competition in the documents section of this page.
With your help, let’s make 2024 the year that smokers in Oxfordshire decide to quit smoking!
