Tell us your priorities for improving Oxfordshire’s bus services
The Oxfordshire Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) sets out our key ambitions for improving the local bus network and how the county council and bus companies will work in partnership to deliver them.
Oxfordshire were successful in receiving over £14m of BSIP funding from the Department for Transport to deliver improvements between April 2022 and March 2025. This funding is going towards a number of projects from large scale bus priority measures in Oxford, to new bus services and discounted travel, for example £1 bus fares on Sundays in December. Please see our webpage for further information.
We are updating our BSIP this summer which will include proposals beyond March 2025. There is no guarantee of any further government funding being available, however we are excited about the opportunity this presents and want to ensure that our updated Improvement Plan reflects the views of Oxfordshire residents and those visiting or working in the county.
Let us know your views
To help us develop and update the plan we're keen to hear from people who already use buses and also from those who currently don’t. We also want to hear from public, private and voluntary organisations who have an interest in making our bus services work better.
Your views will help us shape the BSIP particularly for plans beyond March 2025.
The deadline for responses is 11.59 pm on Sunday 14th April.
