We're asking for your views on the proposal to amend the eligibility of the various properties within Oxford Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) to apply for Residents & Visitors Parking Permits. The proposals are outlined in the table below:

Cowley Centre (East)

Divinity Road
limit No. 195 Divinity Road from eligibility to apply for 1 residents permit each plus the standard allowance of visitor permits
Headington West (B)
exclude No. 66 Valentia Road from eligibility to apply for residents & visitor permits
Lye Valley
exclude No. 105 Bulan Road from eligibility to apply for residents permits
Magdalen North
exclude No. 179 Iffley Road from eligibility to apply for residents permits

Marston North

Wood Farm
exclude Nos. 9 & 9a Pauling Road from eligibility to apply for residents & visitor permits
Additionally, as a result of local concerns amendments to the Cutteslowe & Five Mile Drive Area Zone are proposed as follows:
Bourne Close & David Walter Close will be added to the CPZ order to restrict parking to ‘Permit Parking Places 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday’ & also add the properties therein to the list of those eligible to apply for residents & visitor permits.
Please read the detailed information provided on this consultation, and take the time to complete the survey as your views and opinions matter. Your response should be completed and returned by Friday 17 November 2021.
Whilst we will endeavour to answer simple queries during the course of the consultation, any more complex questions/issues will be appraised and dealt with as part of consultation process.
What happens next?
The County Council will review the responses and if necessary (i.e. if objections are received) prepare a report to be presented to the Cabinet Member for Highway Management at a meeting scheduled for later in 2021/early in 2022. This will be public meeting at which members of the public may apply to speak. The agenda and reports for meetings will be made available on the Oxfordshire County Council web site about a week before the meeting. Please note that occasionally it is necessary to defer reports to a later meeting, and it is therefore advisable to check the agenda ahead of attending a meeting, the Forward Plan of decisions meetings can be viewed here.
