We're inviting residents within the Headington Central Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) to take part in a survey which is aimed at gathering opinions as part of a two-year program of review to some of its existing Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) across the city.

Historically, changes to parking restrictions within these zones have been made in a piecemeal fashion, either through development-funded alterations or transport projects that only affect parts of a CPZ (e.g., LTNs). This parking review will seek to address parking concerns on an area-wide basis, with the view to improving the performance of parking restrictions in the affected areas.

Have your say.

The County Council is seeking the views of all residents and businesses within the Headington Central CPZ area, therefore please take the time to complete the survey as your views and opinions matter. Your response should be completed and returned by 5pm on Friday 25th July 2025.

Whilst we will endeavor to answer simple queries during the course of the consultation, any more complex questions/issues will be appraised and dealt with as part of consultation process.

What happens next?

The feedback received during the course of the consultation will be used in conjunction with inventory survey data of existing parking restrictions to help develop parking improvement plans. Once the plans have been prepared, residents and businesses will be formally consulted before any final decisions on parking changes are made.
