Welcome and thank you for your interest in the group.
The main objective of this group is to give individuals living with disabilities an opportunity to review, influence and comment on major transport schemes.
As a participant within the group, you will be asked to:
Review the public realm changes from future transportation initiatives
Provide constructive criticism and generate actions to mitigate concerns
Input to the Equalities Impact Assessment prior to documents going to the County Council's Cabinet / Cabinet Member's Decision
This group is transferring from Oxford City Council to Oxfordshire County Council and for data protection purposes we need all existing members, and people who are interested in joining for the first time, to fill in our registration form.

Background to the Focus Group
First established by Oxford City Council in May 2020 and now run by Oxfordshire County Council, this group has met more than 40+ times since its creation
It meets every 6 weeks primarily through 90-minute online meetings from 17:30 - 19:00, with site visits as appropriate
Includes residents with lived experienced as well as formal representatives from charities and other groups, for example: Unlimited Oxfordshire, MyVision Oxfordshire, Oxford 50+ Network, Wheels for Wellbeing, Coalition for Healthy Streets and Active Travel (CoHSAT)
Projects include transport. mobility, and public ream proposals from both Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council
