Consultation has concluded
Goring Library is getting an upgrade in 2024! We would like to ask you to suggest what services you would like to see in your library. These can be improvements to existing services, or new activities that you would like to see the library host in the future. We would welcome your answers to the short survey below.
The enhanced library space will offer:
• Improved shelving to display our books more effectively and new book stock to be borrowed.
• A brilliant new children’s area with a design to facilitate reading and learning
• Dedicated workspaces and enhanced lighting for private study and work
• Moveable shelving to enable the library space to be expanded and used for different purposes by the community.
This enhancement of the library is partly supported by developer funding granted by South Oxfordshire District Council and will enable Goring Library to deliver improved library services for the village and surrounding area.
