Consultation has concluded
The Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) 2022-26 is Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s cornerstone document, which sets out how we will deliver the Fire and Rescue service for Oxfordshire County Council and Cherwell District Council for the next four years.
We are interested in your views on these plans, and will use your feedback to help drive future improvements in the service.
The Community Risk Management Plan 2022-26 will also be referred to as the 'CRMP' on this page and throughout the survey.
Have your say: We’d like to hear what you think about our Community Risk Management Plan 2022-26, and what we propose to do over the next four years.
Please fill in our online survey by clicking the ‘TAKE SURVEY’ button below.
Background: The Fire and Rescue National Framework 2018 document outlines how Fire Authorities will discharge their functions with regards to the fire and rescue service. The framework requires the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service to produce a CRMP and consult on our plan. The CRMP identifies and assesses foreseeable fire and rescue related risks that could affect our community.
Our Community Risk Management Plan 2022-2026, will be the driver for change within Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, setting out our strategic priorities for ‘Response’, ‘Prevention’, ‘Protection’ and ‘People and Wellbeing’, and how we intend to manage existing and future risks within the county.
Documents: The Community Risk Management Plan 2022-2026 is available under the ‘Consultation document’ section on right side of page. It can also be viewed here:HERE.
As part of the development of the Community Risk Management Plan, it is necessary for the service to carry out a risk analysis on foreseeable risks with in the county. The Community Safety Services Risk Analysis documents the assessment that has been carried out on these risks, supports the service in deciding the priorities for the CRMP 2022-26 and will help the reader to see how we have determined these priorities. This document is available under the ‘Additional information’ section on right side of page. It can also be viewed HERE.
Alternative formats: We know that some people can’t, or find it difficult to, take part in online consultations or need things in a different format such as large print, easy read or a different language, to have their say.
If you, or anyone you know needs a printed copy of the questionnaire, information in an alternative format or help with sharing their thoughts on our ideas board please email engagementteam@oxfordshire.gov.uk or call the county council's Customer Services Team on 01865 792422. Please note the council's Customer Services Team are unable to answer any detailed questions about the CRMP.
