We are working with partners to look at how advice services work at the moment and we would like your views to help us shape the future of those services.
We want to make sure that services meet the needs of Oxfordshire residents and we would like to gather feedback from people who have used advice services which will help to support the development of what people may require in future.
Advice services can be crucial to support households to access the support they need to help them to maximise income and manage debts.
We want advice services to provide free, independent and impartial advice to assist people with benefits, debt, budgeting and other financial and welfare issues, as well as specialist interventions. These service help people to make the best use of the money available to them.
We know there is a link between financial hardship and health and wellbeing which can be a vicious cycle, with both affecting the other. Financial hardship can result in households needing to make difficult choices about how they spend their limited income to try and cover key payments such as housing, energy and food costs.
