Wheatley - Notice of Modification Order for Wheatley Footpath No. 23 Ref: 03581

To inform interested parties that the Modification Order to add a footpath in Wheatley has now been confirmed and so the footpath will be recorded on the Definitive Map and Statement.

The Wheatley Footpath No. 23 Modification Order 2022

Oxfordshire County Council made a Modification Order to add a footpath to the definitive map and statement from Wheatley Footpath No. 1 at grid reference SP 5877 0546, south of Littleworth Business Centre, running southeast for approximately 91 metres to SP 5886 0542 and then continuing generally south for approximately 211 metres to Windmill Lane at grid reference SP 5889 0522, east of Windmill Cottage.

The council has made this Order as there is sufficient evidence to suggest that public bridleways subsist and therefore should be shown on the map and statement. Confirmation of the order

Objections were received to the Order, and so the Order was forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate. An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the order without modification, and the footpath will be recorded on the Definitive Map and Statement.
