TheNorth Leigh Restricted Byway No. 43 Modification Order 2022
Oxfordshire County Council made a Modification Order to add a restricted byway to the definitive map and statement from North Leigh Bridleway 31 at grid reference SP 3823 1404, running north-north-west then north-north-east for approximately 182 metres to grid reference SP 3824 1421 where it crosses a stream, before continuing in a generally northerly direction for approximately 357 metres to meet Drakes Lane at SP 3824 1457, shown A - B - C on the Order plan on the right hand side.
The council made this Order because there is sufficient evidence to suggest that a Restricted Byway subsists or is reasonably alleged to subsist and therefore this should be shown on the map and statement. This evidence consists of documentary evidence. The report and its appendices are available on request from the case officer - contact details are on the right hand side.
Confirmation of the order
Objections were received to the Order, and so the Order was forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate. An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the order without modification, and the restricted byway will be recorded on the Definitive Map and Statement.
