Consultation has concluded

You’re invited to a special online briefing about the county council’s plan to expand the Oxford zero emission zone (ZEZ) to cover a wider area of the city centre. Please join us on:

Thursday 23 May 2024, 3.30 pm - 4.30 pm

Council officers will present the latest proposals and then answer any questions you have.

Join us by this link on Teams, on 23 May 2024 at 3.30pm

A ZEZ is a daily road user charging scheme to improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions. Vehicles with zero tailpipe emissions can be driven in the zone free of charge. All other vehicles (including hybrids) are charged a daily fee according to their emissions unless they have a 100 per cent discount or exemption.

We are currently seeking feedback from stakeholders on the latest proposals for expanding the ZEZ before developing them any further.

You don't need to sign up to join the meeting, but if you do, we will send you a reminder of the event link a day before the event.

You will also be able to post us questions in advance and join a mailing list to receive regular updates, including when the public consultation begins.
