Are you a young carer?
If you're under 18 and help take care of a family member or friend who needs extra help because they're sick, have a disability, or have issues with their mental health or addiction, then you're a young carer. This can mean doing things like cooking, cleaning, helping them get dressed, or being there to support them emotionally.
Being a young carer teaches you valuable life skills, but it can also be challenging to manage your own well-being. We want to understand the support available to you.
Please fill in the online survey by clicking the ‘TAKE SURVEY’ button below.
Why your input matters
Supporting young carers is important for the council because some children and young people face challenges that can impact their education, well-being, and future opportunities.
The information you share will help us identify what support is helpful and what might be missing from services. We want to make sure the right support is available and accessible to you and the people you care for.
