Consultation has concluded

We need your help identifying where improvements are required in Witney and Ducklington to make cycling and walking (including wheeled users - mobility scooters, pushchairs, wheelchairs etc) safer and more accessible, and what these improvements might be.

We are creating a plan for Witney and Ducklington (including routes into the surrounding area), which will outline how walking and cycling can become safer and more accessible. The plan will help to reduce congestion, improve personal health, improve air quality and fight climate change, making Witney and Ducklington more pleasant places to live, work and visit.

Input from the local community is vital in identifying where we could make infrastructure improvements, and so we invite you to drop a pin on the map with the:

  • location of a concern relating to walking (including wheeled users - mobility scooters, pushchairs, wheelchairs), or cycling and the cause of this concern (e.g. no path, barrier in the way) and;
  • location of suggested improvements and the type of improvement you would like to see, including infrastructure to help people with disabilities and impairments (e.g. more lighting, dropped kerbs, lower speed limit, better crossing, cycle lane, cycle parking, benches).

Please note that your suggestions will be public.

If you would like to add more detail about the improvements you feel are needed, please select the ideas board and leave a comment. Here you can comment on other ideas and "thumbs up" any you agree with. This will help us to understand what improvements to prioritise.

You can respond as many times as you like before 31 January 2022.

Once the consultation closes we will review your suggestions and incorporate them in the plan, so the plan delivers what the community considers important.
