Consultation has concluded
Funding for schools is determined by the National Funding Formula.
The deadline for consultation responses is noon on 8th January 2025.
We are sorry that the timing of this consultation is less than ideal for schools.
This follows on from the Schools News article on the 3rd December, which outlined challenging timelines this year due to late release of information from the Department for Education and the requirement to issue papers for Schools Forum on the 13th January 2025.
Oxfordshire County Council is consulting schools to obtain feedback on:
the best way to manage any shortfall in funding that occurs between funding at the full National Funding Formula rates and the funding available
how to apply any funding that remains after funding the National Funding Formula in full for Schools
a disapplication regarding Joint Use Arrangements
Information to help you complete the survey can be found in the consultation document we have provided below (or to the right side if you are viewing on a laptop or pc).
What happens next:
Your views will be taken forward to Schools Forum on 20th January 2025.
Your views are important as they influence the decision that Schools Forum makes and the decision that the County Council Cabinet make on the Funding Formula.
