Consultation has concluded
A safe and well visit is a free service offered by Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service.
A firefighter or adviser will visit and offer practical advice on where risks in the home could lead to falls, fires, or other emergencies.
They’ll also check smoke alarms (or fit them) and talk to you or the person you care for about keeping safe in the event of a fire. They can provide advice on health and crime prevention too.
We need your help!
We’d like to know how aware you are of Safe and Well visits and how they help people.
If you regularly visit, care or are in touch with families with young children, older or vulnerable people in their own home, there are tell-tale signs that signal a Safe and Well visit may be needed. So in order to protect those we care for, it's important we know what they are.
The survey will only take a couple of minutes and you might learn a thing or two! Your answers are really useful to us and help improve the service.
