Pizza and perspectives (and £20) - event for young people to provide their views on travelling in and around Oxford
Get involved and have your say!
We want to hear from young people who travel in or around Oxford at least once a week.
Are you secondary school age and able to join an in-person session in Oxford city centre, where you can meet other young people?
Want to have your say in travel and transport in and around Oxford?
Do you live in or travel around Oxford or the surrounding area (up to five miles from Oxford) at least once a week?
Fancy having pizza and receiving £20 as a thank you for taking part?!
Sign up to join us at Pizza and perspectives on Wednesday 6 August 12 pm – 3:30 pm.
This is a great chance to:
learn about how and why we're planning to tackle congestion in Oxford
tell the council what it’s like to travel in and around Oxford as a young person
create campaign ideas on the travel options that matter to you
meet new friends and enjoy some tasty pizza!
As a thank you we will give you £20 (via PayPoint payment) and pay you back for your travel expenses.
Places are limited, so sign up now (before Sunday 3 August!) and we’ll confirm if you have a place by the next Monday.
If you are under 16 years of age, your parent/carer needs to complete the form for you.
When: 12 pm – 3:30 pm on Wednesday 6 August 2025
Where: Oxfordshire County Hall, New Rd, Oxford OX1 1ND
The session will be run by council staff (who are DBS checked). Pizza, other snacks and refreshments will be provided.
