Overview
This strategy explains how councils, health services, and support organisations in Oxfordshire will work together to:
Help stop people becoming homeless
Help people who are homeless
Reduce rough sleeping (sleeping outside)
Help people find and keep a home
Homelessness across Oxfordshire continues to rise, and this strategy sets out how councils, health partners, voluntary organisations, and housing providers will work together to prevent homelessness, reduce rough sleeping, improve access to suitable accommodation and strengthen partnership working across housing, health, and social care.
This consultation gives residents, service users, frontline workers, and community organisations the opportunity to help shape the final strategy. Your feedback will help ensure our priorities, actions, and partnership arrangements reflect the needs of people across the county and support a more joined‑up and effective response to homelessness.
The consultation is being hosted on Oxford City Council's website. This is where you can find full details and associated documents about the proposed strategy, together with the consultation questionnaire, where you can share your views.
