We are writing to residents to gather feedback on potential parking measures in the area, which are being considered in response to the development on land at Botley Centre, West Way, Oxford (P16/V0246/FUL). Under the planning decision, funding was secured under a section 106 agreement for the consultation and promotion of parking controls within the vicinity to mitigate the potential impacts of overspill on the surrounding streets.

Officers at the County Council have worked with the local County Councillor to bring forward an informal consultation about parking issues in the area, with the aim to develop options for changes that will help address local concerns, and make the roads safer and more accessible for all road-users.

Have your say.

Whilst we will endeavour to answer simple queries during the course of the consultation, any more complex questions/issues will be appraised and dealt with as part of consultation process.

As your views and opinions matter, your response should be completed and returned by 5pm on Friday 17th October 2025.

What happens next?

In discussion with the relevant County Councillor(s), the feedback from the consultation will be reviewed after it closes, and if there is a consensus for parking measures to be taken forward, these will be subject to further 'formal' consultation with residents at a later date.
