Mobility Hubs - Carterton questionnaire

Oxfordshire County Council has allocated £1.5million of capital funding to develop trial Mobility Hubs in Benson and Carterton. This aims to support sustainable travel, reduce reliance on private cars, and improve access to public and active transport.

Mobility Hubs are places where multiple transport modes and community services are co-located, offering safe, accessible, and attractive environments for travel and interchange.

The location for the Mobility Hub in Carterton is at the Brize Norton Road “Crossroads” bus stop.

In Carterton, we aim to:

  • Upgrade bus stops and provide safe and secure cycle parking
  • Improve the public realm and introduce other community assets
  • Provide facilities for people to easily travel to onward destinations

This consultation seeks your views on the proposed the highway design as well as identifying which additional features should be included as part of the improvements. Your feedback will help shape the final plans and ensure they meet local needs.
