Welcome to the engagement page for the Mobility Hub - Benson Marina.

Oxfordshire County Council has allocated £1.5million of capital funding to develop trial Mobility Hubs in Benson and Carterton. This aims to support sustainable travel, reduce reliance on private cars, and improve access to public and active transport.

Mobility Hubs are places where multiple transport modes and community services are co-located, offering safe, accessible, and attractive environments for travel and interchange.

The location for the Mobility Hub in Benson is by the Marina bus stops.

In Benson, we aim to:

  • Upgrade bus stops and provide safe and secure cycle parking
  • Improve the public realm and introduce other community assets
  • Provide facilities for people to easily travel to onward destinations
