Consultation has concluded
A library and heritage strategy for Oxfordshire now and for the future 2022 - 2027
We are interested in your views on our vision for these services and the priorities we have identified that will guide our work to improve these services and ensure they support people of all ages and backgrounds. We will use your feedback to help us drive improvements in these services.
Please fill in our online survey by clicking the ‘TAKE SURVEY’ button below.
Background: The draft strategy document has been developed through engagement with staff, the public, partners and stakeholders including our volunteers and Friends groups. Last year, we asked residents for ideas for our libraries, the Oxfordshire Museum and Oxfordshire History Centre, and we have incorporated these ideas and the issues that people raised as most important in our thinking.
We have identified three core themes, people, place and partnership, against which we have set out priorities for our work over the next five years. We are keen to hear whether you think the themes and the priorities we have identified are the right ones for Oxfordshire. We are also keen to hear any ideas for improvements or activities that we might include in our strategy.
When we have analysed the feedback, we will amend/update the draft strategy and publish an action plan annually on our website.
Documents: Paper copies of the consultation document and survey will be available shortly in all libraries, the Oxfordshire Museum and the Oxfordshire History Centre.
