Henley on Thames - proposed parking & loading restrictions
This consultation has now concluded.
We're asking for your views on the proposal to introduce new & amend existing parking measures in Henley-on-Thames. The proposals are being put forward in accordance with OCC parking policy, and to help provide more residents parking, improve traffic movement & visibility, and support local amenities within the town.
Existing ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions (double yellow lines) will be amended & new sections introduced at various locations to help improve traffic movements and visibility at junctions, and access to local bus stops.
Limited waiting restrictions will be introduced on Hart Street to provide support to the local hotel, and on Market Place to provide extra parking spaces to assist with access to local amenities.
‘Resident Permit Holders Only’ parking will be introduced on Friday Street in place of sections of existing limited waiting & double yellow lines in order to provide additional parking capacity for local residents.
The existing general 10minute loading bays on Bell Street will be converted to Goods Vehicle Loading only bays, which aim to improve loading access to adjacent business amenities.
Have your say.
