Henley Library Refurbishment
Henley Library is getting an upgrade in early 2025! We would like to hear suggestions for what services you would like to see in your library. These can be improvements to existing services, or new activities that you would like to see the library host in the future. We would welcome your answers to the short survey below.
The new library space will offer:
• New furniture and layout by a specialist library designer
• A brilliant new children’s area with a design to facilitate reading and learning
• Dedicated workspaces and enhanced lighting for private study and work
• Moveable shelving to enable the library space to be expanded and used for different purposes by the community.
Improvements to the building carbon footprint will also be carried out as part of this project. The library will have to temporarily close to customers but limited library services will be provided from another location in Henley town centre.
This refurbishment of the library is funded by developer funding granted by South Oxfordshire District Council and the Public Service Decarbonisation Scheme.
