Welcome to the public consultation page for Eynsham and the surrounding area Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP).
We want to make walking, wheeling and cycling safer and more accessible for all in the Eynsham area. To achieve this, we have drafted a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) with input from the local community.
What is an LCWIP?
An LCWIP is a plan that identifies walking, wheeling and cycling routes for local journeys e.g. to school, work and amenities now and in the future. The plan suggests improvements to these routes to support more people to walk, wheel and cycle. You can read more information about Oxfordshire County Council's approach to LCWIPs.
Have your say on the Eynsham and the surrounding area LCWIP
The plan and supporting information can be found below and in the Consultation documents section on the right-hand side of the page.
Once you have reviewed the information, we would like to hear your views on the plan and what we can do to make it better. To do this, please fill in our online survey by clicking the ‘TAKE SURVEY’ button below.
We realise that walking, wheeling and cycling is not an option for everyone. We would especially like to hear the views of people who find it challenging to walk, wheel or cycle in Eynsham area and whether our plan meets your needs.
We will not share any of your personal information from this consultation.
What happens next?
This consultation closes on Monday 27th October. We will then review all comments and where appropriate, incorporate these into the plan. The final version of the plan will then go through a process at Oxfordshire County Council that will allow it to be formally adopted as council policy. This will help us to bid for funding as it becomes available to improve walking, wheeling and cycling conditions in the Eynsham area.
