• Didcot stakeholder workshop feedback

    In November we are holding a series of stakeholder workshops in Didcot to get initial feedback from parish and district councils, business, accessibility and transport groups to understand the transport needs in each location from now until 2050.

    After each session, workshop participants are encouraged to add any further feedback or thoughts for us to consider on these ideas boards as we begin drafting the area travel plan for Didcot ahead of future public consultation on the plan.

    Sutton Courtenay needs safe places for pedestrians to cross

    The village has no crossings and all our roads are very busy. we need crossings throughout village

    Sutton Courtenay needs a better bus service

    The number 33 is totally inadequate for a very large village. we need improved bus stops with shelters and live feed and more direct buses

    Some people just really need to use their car due to disability and ease, eg getting children to school.

    Cars are needed.

    Thoughts with regards to the five ideas: A more efficient bus service throughout Didcot would give additional transport opportunities.
