E-scooter trial - your views
Consultation has concluded
There are over 450 electric scooters (e-scooters) available for public hire in and around Oxford. Visitors and residents of Oxford can now hire these zero-emission e-scooters as part of a 14-month trial by the UK government. Our rental scheme is operated by Voi Technology and aims to support quick and green travel in Oxford.
The scooters can be hired online, by registered drivers, for short trips around the city of Oxford. GPS tracking, zoning restrictions and limited speed are all built in to help ensure the e-scooters meet the vehicle restrictions of each area they operate in.
Have your say:
In order for the County Council to further understand how the e-scooter trial is performing we would like to hear what you think and whether there any improvements that can be made for both users and non users alike.
Please fill in our online survey by clicking the ‘TAKE SURVEY’ button below.
We would particularly like to hear the views of people who find it challenging, in particular the issues faced and where you feel improvements could be made. We will not share any of your personal information from this consultation.
The consultation closes on 15 December 2021. We will then review all comments and where appropriate look to report on the findings.
Please note this survey is in addition to the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO) consultation for the e-scooters trial which is already live here.
For further information on the ongoing e-scooter trial please visit our dedicated webpage located here.
