We want to improve the quality and safety of walking and cycling provision in Carterton and the surrounding area.
We have drafted a document called a Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) with input from local stakeholders to help us achieve this.
The LCWIP identifies destinations in Carterton and the surrounding area that could be reached by walking and cycling and makes suggestions for how to improve these walking and cycling routes.
Walking and cycling for journeys can help us stay healthy, increase happiness and enable us to reconnect with nature.
