The Movement and Place (MAP) Plan for Bicester and Mid Cherwell is Oxfordshire County Council’s plan to improve local areas and transport. It aims to make public spaces better for the community and upgrade travel routes and infrastructure.

This MAP Plan covers Bicester and the surrounding Mid Cherwell area. A map of the MAP Plan area is shown on page 6

This survey should take approximately 5 - 10 minutes to complete.
This consultation will run from Monday 3 November until Monday 1 December 2025 at 11.59 pm.
What happens after the consultation period?
Once the consultation ends, we’ll look at all the survey responses and any other feedback we’ve received. This will help us make improvements to the MAP Plan.
The updated plan will then be presented to the Council’s Cabinet in January for approval.
Once adopted, this will then replace Local Transport Plan Area Transport Strategy for the Bicester area (Connecting Oxfordshire - Area Strategies).
