2022 'Be Supported' questionnaire for children and young people in Oxfordshire - please tell us how supported you feel by the services you use

Services include: schools/colleges, youth clubs, social workers, job clubs, health services, etc. - but could be any services that provide help and support, or affect your life in some way.

Introduction

For the fourth year running, VOXY (Voice of Oxfordshire's Youth) and the Children’s Trust Board would like feedback from all children and young people in Oxfordshire, aged 8 - 18 and up to 25 with additional needs, about how supported they feel by the services they use.

You may have answered this questionnaire in 2019, 2020 and/or 2021, but we would also like to see how supported children and young people feel now, so please complete this 2022 questionnaire, even if you have filled one out in previous years.

'Be Supported' is one of the 4 focus areas of the Oxfordshire Children and Young People’s Plan 2018 – 2023, which is sponsored by The Children's Trust Board and has been developed through discussion with partners including asking children and young people what is important to them. You can view a view the 2018 - 2023 Plan (which includes a poster on p.8 showing the main elements of the Plan) in the Other documents section of this page.

Paper and Easy Read versions

The online questionnaire should be completed where possible, but there are also 3 paper surveys that can be printed out and completed if preferred – all of which can be downloaded from the Paper and Easy Read versions section of this page:

1. A paper version of the online questionnaire
2. A more accessible Easy Read version of the questionnaire for those aged 8 - 13
3. A more accessible Easy Read version of the questionnaire for those aged 14 - 18 (and up to 25 years with additional needs)

If any of these 3 documents are printed, completed paper versions of the questionnaire need to be returned by the same 24 April deadline. (Instructions for return are included.)

What will happen with my feedback?

The findings of this report will influence the approach of the Children’s Trust Board for the final year of the current Plan (until 2023). Feedback will help clarify what further action is needed in relation to the 'Be Supported' Area of Focus for the Children's Trust Board.
